Lambert Robotics is a competitive team similar to other varsity sports at Lambert High School. Students join the team through a tryout process. During the tryout process, parents must register themselves and their students in the MembershipTookit (MTK) system, which is the official team database managed by the booster association. Parents will use the MTK system to pay team dues, register and pay for travel events, and to complete certain team forms.
How to Join the TEam
There are four basic steps to join the team. ALL FAMILIES, both new and returning, must complete this process.
- Participate in the tryout process managed by the coach and the student leaders. Contact Coach Laura Bender for more information on this process.
- Create or update your profile on MembershipToolkit (see the steps below on this page for New Families or Returning Families)
- If your student is selected for the team, pay dues using the "Pay Student/Family Membership Dues" form to accept your student's slot on the team by the stated deadline. NOTE: you will only have access to the form after your student has been offered a spot on the team.
- Create or update your profile on the FIRST Robotics website. NOTE: you will be provided with a special link for this step before the first competition. DO NOT attempt to create a profile without using this link.
How to Register: New Families
If you are a new family (meaning you have never had a student join or try out for the team (including students who have since graduated), follow these steps.
- Click here to access the login screen. Click the Create Account button.
- Follow the prompts to enter your email address, verify your email address, and create a password. Then,
- After creating your account you should be logged in and you should land on the Registration and Forms page. If not, click here to access the Registration and Forms page.
- Complete the Student and Family Information Form. Click here to access the Student and Family Information Form directly.
How to Register: Returning Families
If you are a returning family (meaning one of your students was on the team in a previous season or tried out for the team in a previous season, even if they have since graduated), follow these steps.
- Click here to access the login screen. Login using your existing username and password. If you do not remember your password, use the Forgot My Password option. If you do not remember which email address you used, please contact the booster association registrar. They can look up your account email address.
- After you are logged in, you should land on the Registration and Forms page. If not, click here to access the Registration and Forms page.
- Complete the Student and Family Information Form to update the parent/guardian information and student information. You can add additional students during this step. Click here to access the Student and Family Information Form directly.
